Diagnosis Help?

I had my second laparoscopy last Thursday, was told there was no endometriosis, no adhesions... Nothing to cause my constant pain basically. I had the same laparoscopy in 2014 and there were adhesions on my bowel with no explanation as to why, apart from a gynaecologist who told me I was constipated! (I might add he has since 'left' the trust after numerous complaints)

If I don't have endometriosis then I am happy with that, but what I'm not happy with if still having no reason for the pain… read more

There are doctors that should not be allow to practice... I had a laporoscopy back in 2010...my 4th surgery... the doctor said i barely had any endometriosis and he could'nt understand why i had so much pain, he suggested i should see a mental health specialist that my pain might be in my head... I CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW DEVASTATED I WAS... i feel into a depression...i really thought there was something wrong with me.... long story short i spend 5 years without getting another surgery (different dr) and my insides were so bad i had layer on top of dried up layer and more layers of endometriosis...the dr had to close me up to tell me my only solution is a hysterectomy....all because i listened to a moron dr... always get a second opinion

Has anyone looked at your diaphragm? Surgeons often overlook that and endo is easily concealed in that area.

Thank you, I have been told if I was taking anything stronger then they may aswell give me heroine, then preceded to tell me that maybe its in my head...this was a gynaecologist. My GP raised a complaint on my behalf and gave me tramadol! I'm glad I'm not the only one... Sorry if that sounds mean! It's good to come on here and rant away and have someone actually understand instead of thinking your period is a little painful!!

I'm back to the doctor next week at his request so maybe it'll be time for more tests ... Xxx

Oh that's awful!! I hope you're coping now and getting the help of a good doctor! You've given me some hope, I'm not going to let them brush me off again!

I agree!! My stepmother said the pain of a gallbladder attack is worse than labour! And it is instant relief when it's gone, although it took 4 years of arguing with various GPs to agree I had gallstones in the first place, they thought it was growing pains... At 19
