Hi Everyone...I Was Diagnosed With PCOS 3 Yrs Ago And Severe Endo Last Year. My Question Is About Weight Loss After A Full Hysterectomy?

Because of my PCOS and endometriosis, I suffer from chronic pain and anemia which has led to significant weight gain (more than 60 lbs, 20 of it in the last 3 months). Now I’m going for a full hysterectomy in April and beginning hrt shortly afterward. I would appreciate any advice and/personal experiences. Thank you!

I have had full hysterectomy also.
I had stage 4 endo twice and huge weight gain, then had my last surgery last November and now on hrt. I have had significant weight loss. My body is now back to the size it was when I was 17 and I’m 40.
Best advice I can give you is treat your body the best you can with good foods and hydration and rest when needed. I have estrogen patches that I change twice weekly and they are epic.
Any questions feel free to get in touch xx

Before my sons I was 103, at marriage I was 148, after both sons I was 178, after my 1st hysterectomy (idiot left most important parts in) I was 203lbs, then march 08, another surgery, which I had a grocery bag like of endometriosis everywhere in my abdomen, attached to everything. because (he didnt know what he was doing either time. (idiot) I was 203lbs, then 2013 went to specialist because I was in sooo much pain, and soooo sick, found out ins. Assholes would pay surgeons cost, but not surgery cost, couldn't change ins. (Bull shit), during the time 2013-2014 march-june I was like a anorexic, never stopped throwing up,, in the hospital again, all the time. 3x min week. Because of the ins. This almost killed me. I went from 203-103lbs, 100 lb drop due to the . endo attached everywhere again. When I went into surgery, he told my parents, ovary reminces, fallopian tup piece, and cervix where never removed. The endo was all over my colon cervix and abdomen wall. Took biopsies,Dr. Castellon, saved my life, took a while to be able to eat again. Even drink. Because it had been a little more than a year since I could eat or drink. Before I'd try but just threw it up, and of course I can't forget the bowel prep, make sure my bowl intestimes were flat, if not higher chance something bad can happen . I would drink 10 mins after or sooner throw up. Dr said do the best.i could. Yeah, no...but my dad's like. Uhm she can't eat or drink, been a year! So he said ok, well have her stop trying and we'll see in the morning., yeah, flat! Lol. Then he found all those piece i previously stated, was a mess this could have all been avoided granted the weight loss was nice, I never felt good being that heavy. But bad way to lose but after my hysterectomy part 2, 1 year after I stayed the 103lbs, now I'm 130-140. I want to gwt down to 125, because it's still just a bit painful, ontop of everything else. But I've been able to maintain my weight ever since. I believe removing all this bad, infected parts inside me, has helped me keep my weight down to a manageable size. And stay here b
