Hi Ashley, Honestly not nearly as bad as what I had read about!!! Surgeon put me on Norlutate with Lupron as it functions as an add back hormone. I didn’t have one hot flash or night sweats! The first two months I noticed minor acne and hair loss (just more than normal but nothing to be scared of) but otherwise it didn’t stop me from doing anything! The third month has been the least fun. Had insomnia the first week but it did get better. Mostly just really tired this month! Less energy. I was really scared to try Lupron but overall my experience with it has not been that bad at all! I wouldn’t want to stay on it longer than 3 months though. I also took vitamin d and calcium.

My dr wants me to start Lupron as I just had my first surgery and was diagnosed with stage 4. What has your experience been like so far?
