Endometriosis?

I’ve been poorly for 7 months I’ve been through every gastro test all come back clear.. doctors are now saying endometriosis, I’m waiting for my laproscopy to see if I have. I came off a three week period a week ago and think I’m due again, I have such bad pelvic pain and upper abdominal pain, feel so bloated full of air and extreme nausea, also headaches so bad. Just wondered if anyone else feels like this ?! Hellllpp

I hear you. I've done many gastro tests before being diagnosed with endo. My GP at that time thought all those tests were just a loss of time but didn't help me with the pain whatsoever. He thought all my symptoms were caused by me being anxious. I'm glad your doctor mentionned endometriosis and you didn't have it to find the disease by yourself and fight to get diagnosed.

I have those symptoms especially before my period (even on birth control). I'm sorry you have them too. If you often have them before you're due, it may be PMS. I hope your lap brings you answers and relief 💛

I really love the phrase you used "endo Warriors": this is what I hzve been feeling all my life: a warrior trying to fend myself from pain caused by endo and at the same time struggling to lead a great life despite the lack of energy, painful syptoms and lack of understanding from the ones around me. Keep fighting, girls
Merry Christmas

Oh my goodness, are you in my mind? 100% understand and also feel those things. I am sorry you too feel this, but am also happy to know I am not alone in dealing with these symptoms daily. Feel better, and Happy Holidays!

Hey I’m from London and have just had my third surgery. They found a big endometrioma cyst and once they didn’t think it was cancer I waited about 4 months to see a gynae. Then waited 10 months for my endo excision surgery and cyst removed. I rang a few times to make sure they hadn’t forgotten about me lol! Don’t give up, keep ringing for updates and in the meantime get a list of questions together for when you do get seen! Unfortunately it doesn’t seem my excision surgery worked for me :( but it has only been 8 weeks! Don’t give up, here if you ever need to talk x

Thanks everyone who’s commented, so glad I’m not the only one feeling these symptoms! The doctors have also said to me about anxiety and trust me I’ve suffered with that a few years ago and they can’t seem to understand how I know it’s different this time around! It’s these issues causing my anxiety!! They’ve recommended for me to go back on the Mirena coil.. which I was on 9 months ago before all these problems started!! First gyne appointment on the 2nd Jan! I will keep updating!
