I recommend wrapping your heatpad around your feet (or putting your feet in warm water but I find the heatpad easier) and eating something that has a small amount of caffeine when you feel the migraine setting in (I'm a fan of coffee-flavoured dark chocolate, be careful to not have too much caffeine). Then of course keeping a dark, cool room and avoiding straining your eyes etc. When the migraine nausea peaks (or nausea in general) I suck on some tamarind candies.

I haven't had a hysterectomy this is just from my experience with migraines. Hoping you feel better soon!
