Birth Control Options To Stop Your Period Entirely? 💕
Soooo, my excision specialist appointment is on Sept 22nd and her advice post surgery was to stay on my low hormone birth control each day to avoid getting a period. Well, I have taken it.. and it's been 6 weeks post surgery and I've gotten my period twice despite this.
Birth control pills that have more hormones (I'm on tricyclin low) are havoc on my mood and body. I get bad mood swings, headaches, nausea and vertigo.. So, my question is: Has anyone has successfully stopped there period with… read more

Provera
Hello🦋 yesterday I saw my gynecologist and she decided to switch my pill to Provera because I’ve been experiencing a lot of lower abdominal pain. If you’ve used Provera what was your experience with it?
Thank you!
I just started mini pill for same reason, if it doesn't ease my pain Depo Prevera is next. Hang in there.
Has Anyone Had Any Problems Getting Pregnant After Taken The Lupron Injections For 6 Months? Do You Think That The Lupron Helped?
I am starting on the Lupron injections Friday. I will be on it for 6 months my doctor seems to think that it is going to help me with my endo and also thinks that when I come off of it I wont have any problems getting pregnant afterwards. I am just wanting to see what the success rate has been with getting pregnant after the Lupron. TIA
Orilissa: Yay? Or Nay?
I've been diagnosed with Endometriosis and PCOS for several year now. I had two surgeries. I've tried every home remedy in the book at home, birth control, and tried Orilissa. Let me tell you this Endometriosis and PCOS is no joke. When I was taking Orilissa I noticed something, something wrong. I noticed that anxiety, depression, frustration/anger, fearfulness, paranoia, and other sides affects (mental, emotional, Endo, and PCOS) began to rise. All areas in my life started to shift when I… read more
What Tips Do You Have For Coping With Night Sweats?
Many nights I wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat, even though I sleep in my underwear with a thin blanket and blast the AC. So my fellow endo sisters who experience night sweats due to things like medication side effects or hormone level changes, how do you deal with this? What nighttime tips do you have beyond what I'm already doing? Thanks!
Mine is the true temp mattress pad from sleep number tho. They also sell sheets and pillow cases based on the same cooling tech
Hi! I Was Prescribed Visanne And A Zoladex Shot For 6 Months. Then We Can Do IVF. Has Anyone Done This Kind Of Treatment And Got Pregnant?
I had a laparo-hysteroscopy in december, but apparently not all endo was removed. Another doctor wants to go surgical again to tackle the remaining endo. I'm confused as to go surgical again or just medical with Visanne... Help 🙁
Glad to hear the pain level decreased ❤️ That's what I'm hoping for.
On Depo-Provera. Had Eggs Retrieved And Stared Spotting 2 Weeks Later Is It Normal?
I stuggle with endometriosis. I am almost three months on Depo-Provera. I have never spotted in the 3months that im on Depo-Provera. 2 weeks ago i had some eggs retrieved and had little bleeding for 30 mins after the procedure. But now 2 weeks later i stared spotting heavily. Any reason to why i could be spotting only now. Or can it be that im Ovulating and that the Depo-Provera hasn’t started working yet after the egg retrieval process.
Spotting after egg retrieval is very common, and they say that you have a delayed response to the procedure. I just had my procedure as well and 2 weeks after I had heavy spotting. It went away a… read more
When Did Post-surgical Fatigue Stop For You?
I'm two and a half months out from my surgery and still feel quite fatigued on a daily/weekly basis, not like I did immediately after surgery but it's certainly the most persistent symptom. I am not currently on any medication.
Luckily my pain is drastically reduced so far - maybe I'm just noticing the fatigue more now than I used to earlier. I also am not on meds for the first time in years, just started full-time work after graduating and moved to a new city in September so there's lots of… read more

To Remove Or Not To Remove?
I had the mirena inserted due to continuos bleeding over a four month period and I haven't experienced pain like this before. My only symptom was the bleeding. I've had the Mirena for a month now and have been prescribed birth control for the progesterone. My parents don't want me taking any painkillers due to the opioid crisis. Yes, I know that's in America, but they watch a lot of TV. They didn't even want to pay to have it removed, so I emailed my gynae and she offered to do it pro bono. What… read more
